LOWER MOSS WOOD EDUCATIONAL NATURE RESERVE AND WILDLIFE HOSPITAL

The Friends of Lower Moss Wood

Lower Moss Wood Educational Nature and Wildlife Hospital was developed to inform people of how farming and conservation can work hand in hand bringing closer links between town and country.  Each year the Wood brings pleasure to thousands of school children and adults alike.

The reserve is a haven for wildlife and is open by prior arrangement only to organised parties such as schools, societies, natural history parties, groups with disabilities and interested individuals.

By becoming a Friend you will be entitled to attend special events throughout the year such as social evenings, barbeques and guided walks, in addition to receiving three newsletters per annum keeping you up-to-date with all the happenings at the Wood.

The wildlife hospital is not available for viewing but there will be a special open day for Friends each year.  We also have an adoption scheme where you can sponsor our resident animals or the hospital itself for one year.
